Reduced Band Broadening on Short, Narrow-Bore HPLC Columns
3/28/2005. Through research and engineering, IT has developed a breakthrough technology that significantly improves the performance of traditional narrow-bore HPLC columns. Presented at Pittcon 2005, this technology delivers reduced backpressure, reduced band broadenin,g and increased plate-count performance.

Reducing Extra-Column Effects in HPLC for Minibore and Microbore Applications
9/8/2006. Differences in tubing ID result in variations in dead volume and column perfomance. This is magnified at the smaller column geometries, in particular for 2.1 mm ID columns. Performance of the column improved when the 0.005 ID tubing was used on the instrument.
